About – Piano Tuning Southwest Florida

I had a steady five-niter performing 3 1/2 hours per night on a new but less than professional grade small grand. I demanded a lot out of this instrument – Phil set a really good temperament, and the unisons held for a long time. His knowledge of piano technology is encyclopedic, and he also knows the fine arts of voicing and regulation. It was a joy playing a piano he had serviced and knowing that I could call him if the piano needed special attention!

Phil Bondi is WONDERFUL! I first found his website online, which was very professional. His biography clearly showed that he is both knowledgable and experienced. I was also impressed by the fact that he tunes pianos for the Barbara Mann Performing Arts Hall. I paid just slightly more for Phil as compared to other quotes that I received, but I felt confident that he was truly a master of his craft, and I wanted my piano to sound beautiful. It was money well spent. He arrived on time, dressed appropriately, handed me a business card, and waited to be invited into my home. I felt very comfortable with Mr. Bondi. He was fast and efficient, and my piano sounds absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend his services!  ~Best Wishes~

Phil Bondi is most knowledgeable and dependable. He has brought my two 90 year old Mason Hamlin Grands up to par, and if there’s ever a problem in between tunings, he’s always willing to come and take care of it, no matter how small it is.. When I moved from New York to Florida the criteria was to find a piano tuner that used a computer to tune the pianos so that they would be in sync with each other .Being part of a duo piano team, the accuracy of the pitch between the two pianos was imperative. He’s very reliable, and generous with his time, and treats his clients extremely well.

Mr. Bondi tuned a piano at our Synagogue to be used for my daughter’s wedding; as it turned out the piano had not been tuned for years and was pretty flat. He made arrangements with the secretary and arrived as promised. He was extremely conscientious, tuned it perfectly, and even worried about moving the piano after tuning. As it worked out, the sound was wonderful, and helped make the music an important part of the ceremony. I would definitely recommend Mr. Bondi to anyone.

Phil came out in less than a week after I contacted him, immediately addressed the issues with the piano and tuned it all in one visit. The piano sounds great, and it looks great, too, after he gave it a quick cleaning and polishing. I love that he will send me reminders when it’s time for the next tuning. Highly recommend Phil.

Went very well – but watch out for the doppler effect if u have a ceiling fan running in the room – it plays havoc with the sound and pitch. my piano is in good hands. sounds great now.
